Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Wet ingredients:

8 TBSP softened butter

2 eggs

2 TSP vanilla

2 cups brown sugar

Mix the following ingredients in a mixer, or with a hand mixer.

Dry:

2.5 Cups flour

1 TSP baking soda

1 TSP salt

1-2 cups dark chocolate chunks, or semi sweet chocolate chips if don’t like dark

Mix in a medium bowl.

Add dry ingredients to mixer.

Preheat over to 350.

Scoop by the tablespoon to a lined cookie sheet a few inches apart.

Sprinkle with salt.

Bake 10-12 minutes.

It can be so hard to find the perfect chocolate chip cookies, but these check all the boxes in my house. The base cookie dough could literally be used for so many different cookies. I loved that it was brown sugar, butter, and vanilla filled- to me the best flavor combo! I added dark chocolate chunks I found at Whole Foods, but you could also make it with a different topping of choice. Don’t forget to add the salt because you can never have enough in my opinion.
