Homemade Crunch Wrap Supremes with Masa Chips
Have you tried a homemade crunch wrap supreme?! Like everything from the tortilla, the cheese sauce, all of it homemade? It is a favorite of mine. Finally I came across the perfect chips that not only give it the crunch factor, but also the exact flavor of the original. Masa chips have zero seed oils, and are made in small batches with beef tallow, and another favorite of mine, Redmond Salt. Pure perfection in my book. If I can recommend one flavor to try it would be the Cobenero, but I like a little kick of spice. If you are not a fan of spice, get the original. So dang good. Sour cream, a spoon full for each
Choice of tortilla chips for crunch, I choose Masa chips for mine
What you need to do:
Start with your tortilla.
Rub sour cream all over.
Add lettuce, tomatoes, onion.
Add chips.
Top with a scoop of meat.
Add cheese sauce, and finish with shredded cheese.
Fold tortilla up-see YouTube video on this.
Make sure your shredded cheddar cheese is last to help melt, and keep it together.
In a pan on high, add ghee, start with open seem down, flip after a few minutes until each side end up golden.
Mine are always like pancakes. The first always end up a little rough, and by the end they are perfect.
