Cheeseburger Balls topped with homemade Big Mac Sauce
Holy. Smokes. These are good. Literally make these tonight for dinner, and everyone will love them! They have everything that a cheeseburger would have in them but in a “meatball” form, and topped with the BEST sauce. We all had seconds in our home! Cheeseburger Balls
What you need:
1 LB Ground beef, I prefer grass-fed, grass finished
1 LB Ground Pork
6 Slices of bacon, cooked, and chopped
1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
1/4 cup whole milk or raw milk
1 TBSP Dijon mustard, can replace with regular yellow mustard too
2 TBSP unsweetened ketchup
1 large egg
2 TBSP sweet relish
2 Slices of white bread, chopped
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
2 tsp oregano
salt, pepper
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided,
1 cup in the meatballs, 1 cup over top after cooked
What to do:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees farenheit.
Mix all the above ingredients in a large bowl, minus the extra cup of shredded cheese for after the balls are cooked.
Make 3 inch meatballs.
Add to a 13X9 lined casserole dish.
Bake for about 30 minutes.
Big Mac Sauce
What you need:
1 cup mayo
2 TBSP sweet relish
2 TBSP unsweetened ketchup
2 Tsp yellow mustard
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
3 TBSP finely chopped onion
salt, pepper
Mix all in a mason jar!
Add remaining cheese to the cheeseburger balls once cooked, and top with Big Mac sauce.
I liked mine on top of some fresh arugula.
Enjoy!
