Simple meatballs with red sauce

My four year old requests these over anything else for dinner. He is majorly in a picky phase when it comes to any meat, or dinner meals. So the fact that he will eat two whole meatballs is wild! These can be used in so many ways-spaghetti, soup, with a salad, you name it.

Simple Meatballs

20 large meatballs

What you need:

2 pounds ground beef, I prefer grassfed/finished

1 pound ground pork

1 small sweet onions, chopped finely

1 large egg

1/4 cup milk of choice, I prefer raw

2 TBSP Dijon mustard

1 TSP garlic powder

1 TBSP Italian seasoning

Salt, pepper

Optional: two slices of bread, chopped

Red sauce:

1 cup unsweetened ketchup, I prefer primal or homemade

3 caps full of white vinegar

1 TBSP coconut aminos

Salt, pepper

Add to the top of uncooked meatballs before cooking.

What to do:

Mix all meatballs ingredients together.

Form 2-3 inch meatballs.

Add to lined 13x9 casserole dish.

Add sauce.

Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit about 30 minutes or until reach internal heat of 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
