Homemade Broccoli Chicken Braid

This dinner is a favorite in our house every time! We love ours with homemade ranch, but it’s also so good with a good soup on the side! Two of my boys had seconds! Also, not a have to but HIGHLY recommend the homemade cresent dough! I put that recipe at the bottom too!

Broccoli Chicken Braid

What you need:

2 packages of crescent dough of choice, or homemade crescent dough

2 lbs cooked chicken thighs, chopped

1 red bell pepper, chopped

1 small white onion, chopped

1 TSP minced garlic

2 TSP Dill Weed

1 TSP garlic powder

Salt, pepper

1 cup Mayo

2 cups cheddar cheese, split in 3 parts

What to do:

In a large bowl mix together chicken, bell pepper, broccoli, onion, all seasonings, mayo, and 1 cup cheese.

Spread the dough out into a large rectangle on a cooking sheet.

Cut 2 inch pieces all along both sides.

Place 1/2 cup cheese on dough, add all of chicken mix, and top with remaining cheese.

Fold butts up, and start twisting the strips together to the middle.

Bake at 350 about 20-30 minutes, until dough is cooked and golden.
