Memorial Day Chocolate Covered Ice Cream cone/bowl fun!

I made this cute idea a few years back and thought it was SO cute and yummy for kids {or anyone} ! They are totally simple to make and easy to have ready before everyone shows up to the barbecue you have planned! My poor boy is sick with a sore throat this weekend and was a big fan of this!

Chocolate Covered Ice Cream Cone/Bowl

What you need:

Ice Cream cones or waffle bowls

Red, white, and blue M&Ms

White Chocolate Chips-I recommend Ghirardelli chocolate

Vanilla or your choice of ice cream

What to do:

1.) Add chocolate chips to a small microwaveable bowl. Set your microwave to 50% power and place in 30 second increments, stirring each time. Make sure to pay attention-can be easily over melted!

2.) Take cone or bowl and dip the rim-the good thing is it doesn’t have to look perfect! Use your fingers if you need to!

3.) Place on baking sheet of plate on wax paper upside down, and place M&Ms how you desire!

4.) Place in freezer right away-m&ms will move. Just need to zap freeze for a couple minutes, plus helps that it’s cold when ice cream is placed in the cone or bowl!

*Tip* For kids, add M&Ms to vanilla ice cream, and as it melts it makes a festive color!

Place in freezer till you enjoy!
